The pandemic has shown that digitalization became a necessity in the market and that there is no future without it. Competition in the market is getting more intense, there are more and more products everyday which makes it very difficult to distinguish them. This is why a special focus is placed on efficiency in doing business, i.e. saving money and time. This is where digitalization has played a key role and brought competitive advantage to many companies. Nowadays, however, this is not a competitive advantage anymore, but rather a necessity and the question is for how long will companies, which have not digitalized their processes, survive in the market.
Despite all that, Serbia continues to stagnate with digitalization. According to the latest analysis, Serbia is among the moderate innovators with below-average results compared to the EU countries.
